Embark on a mesmerizing ten-day journey through the breathtaking Nangma Valley in Pakistan. Often hailed as the "Yosemite of Pakistan" due to its towering rock formations, this trek offers a perfect blend of adventure and serenity. Despite being nestled within the Karakoram region, this expedition is classified as an easy walking holiday.
Accommodations vary from cozy tents to charming local guesthouses and hotels. Along the way, you'll be treated to an array of natural wonders, including visits to the Amin Brakk Base Camp (4,500m) and Mingulo Broq (3,500m), where you can bask in the beauty of the starlit skies at Nangma Valley (3,950m). Cultural immersion awaits with visits to the vibrant Nangma villages.
Nangma Valley is renowned for its rock climbing, with Amin Broq being a popular spot for enthusiasts. Throughout the journey, you'll have ample opportunities to engage with the warm and hospitable locals as you traverse through picturesque villages.
Day 01: Arrive in Islamabad and transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour of Rawalpindi & Islamabad.
Day 02: Islamabad/Skardu/Chilas. Fly to Skardu at 10.35 AM. In case of flight cancelation (12 -14 hrs), drive by coach to Chilas (480km) on the Karakorum Highway. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Khaplu. Drive from Skardu.
Day 04: Khaplu – Kanday – Mingulo Broq
Day 05: Mingulo Broq – Nangma Valley
Day 06: Free day in Nangma Valley
Day 07: Nangma Valley – Kanday – Shigar
Day 08: Shigar – Skardu – Islamabad. Fly to Islamabad. In case of flight cancellation, drive by coach to Chilas on Karakoram highway. Overnight in hotel.
Day 09: Contingency day in case of delays
Day 10: Islamabad. Transfer to airport for onward journey.
